WHAT TO WEAR
Remember it is October in Scotland. Wear layers to keep warm and a top water/showerproof layer ( will have a Prostate Scotland t-shirt over it). Stout footwear. Avoid loose clothing and don’t wear jewellery, watches and if you need to wear glasses make sure they are secure. Empty pockets and lock valuables, phones etc in your car or leave with friends, ensure car keys are in a zipped pocket.

Toilets – there are fully accessible toilets.
WHAT TO DO ON ARRIVAL?
Register with myself at the Highland Fling premises (I will wear something bright to be easily identifiable). Collect t-shirt and put it on (ease of identification)
You will be directed to the Sponsor Sheet drop-off point. You will be advised of location for team photographs etc (weather dependant)
Following photographs you will be under the guidance and instructions of the event organisers
SPONSOR SHEET INSTRUCTIONS
Whether you have traditional sponsor sheets or not, please report to the drop-off point to record whether you did or did not use sponsor sheets
If you have sponsor sheets
Prior to arrival – total all sheets and summarise to an overall total
Bring a cheque for the total amount – made out to Prostate Scotland
If you cannot manage a cheque bring the cash (we prefer not to work with cash)
The sponsor sheets, cheque or cash will be taken and your name and the amount recorded on a sheet. These will be put into an envelope, sealed and stapled and your name and the amount written on the envelope for processing after the event.
PHOTOGRAPHS
The following photographs are planned on the day, these are however somewhat weather dependant and may need to be varied. Below is a schedule of the proposed photographs and the timings, please ensure that you are at the instructed location on time – if you are not there on time the group photos will be taken without you. The abbreviations for the list of photos:-
PHOTOS
10.30 Full Team photo with all participants
Thereafter
Group photos on departure to go to zipslide
Individual photo on accessing zipslide
Individual photo On zipslide at approach to landing area – all participants (as we discovered at the previous zipslide this can be a bit hit and miss as the photographer must choose a location – we had great photos of people’s back!) You will be told on the day whether to try and look left, right or straight ahead on the approach to the landing area.
If you do not wish your photograph being used for publicity purposes please tell us and do not go into the team/group photos. It will be assumed, unless you tell us to the contrary, that you give permission for your photograph to be used for publicity or media purposes.
If you want to ensure a video record of your participation it is probably best if you arrange one of your supporters to take a video on a mobile phone.

By Zip Sliding upstream of the Garry Bridge, at Killiecrankie, on Sunday the 9th October, The PGM and the Depute PGM Bob Cheyne will be representing the Provincial Grand Lodge of Forfarshire and fundraising in aid of Prostate Scotland as part of the Grand Lodge of Scotland's, Make it a Million Campaign. The current total stands in excess of £926,000, so we only need a wee push to achieve our goal.
Prostate Scotland aims to inform, support, campaign and advance on prostate disease in Scotland. The charity raises awareness and provides information about prostate cancer and disease and its treatments. They also promote research and treatment developments on prostate issues across Scotland.
Please follow the link below to the JustGiving website and give generously, if you can! Of course, cheques and cash are also acceptable, and I will be carrying a sponsor for when I'm out and about! So beware!
Many thanks in anticipation of you kind support!
