At the Dundee Indoor Bowling Club, Milne Street, Dundee.Cost of Tickets £30 each and available from PG Secretary.


Speakers will be Willie Young, Former Referee; Willie Allan, after dinner speaker and MC for the evening Rogert Brunton.

The 2016 event raised over £3000 for local charities

Tables of 10 will be available for Lodges wishing to attend.

Any Lodge or Brother who would care to donate to the raffle or auction to forward to the PG Secretary, Graham Letford or David M. Taylor, Depute P.G. Master.

Travelling Maul

I would like to inform Lodges in the province that a “Travelling Maul “was kindly donated to Provincial Grand Lodge of Forfarshire at the October Quarterly communication.

The “Maul“ is in memory of Edith Mulholland the late wife of our Provincial Grand Master and with thanks to Masonic wives past and present.

The aim is to encourage visiting within the province as well as raising money for charity. Below are the guidelines regarding claiming the Maul.

The Maul is now in the hands of Lodge Progress 967 having been successfully claimed at Lodge Hilton St Andrew 1220 meeting of 3rd January.

1- The Travelling Maul will at all times remain the property of the PGLF.
2- Only Lodges within PGLF can claim the Travelling Maul.
3- The Lodge looking to claim the Travelling Maul must notify the holding Lodge of their visit.
4- There must be 7 or more Brethren including either the RWM or the IPM of Lodge claiming the Travelling Maul.
5- The Lodge claiming the Travelling Maul will pay £10 to PGLF for donation to charity.
6- The claiming Lodge will notify PGLF Secretary of their possession of Travelling Maul.
7- The Travelling Maul cannot be claimed on special visitation nights.
8- Where 2 Lodges turn up on same night to claim the Travelling Maul the Lodge with largest attendance will have rights to claim.
