The Baton carried by the Director of Ceremonies

Director of Ceremony's BatonPresented to the Provincial Grand Lodge of Forfarshire by Brother Robert F. Scott, Past Master of Lodge Operative No. 47, at the Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday 24th April 1907, held within the Hall of Lodge St. David No. 78. The meetings during those days started at 4 p.m. in the afternoon.

Brother Scott was at that time Provincial Grand Standard Bearer.
The Provincial Grand Master at that time was the Hon Charles Maule Ramsay. However he was not at that meeting and it was the Depute P.G. Master Bro A  D Anderson (from Arbroath) who accepted the baton on behalf of P.G. Lodge.
